💓Today we celebrated Valentine's Day!💓

In preparation, KP-2 completed their poetic masterpiece.  Since Walt Whitman's Song of Myself, there hasn't been a finer piece of literary work.

On Valentines morning, we started our party with some mad science.  Dropping candy hearts into vinegar, the sodium bicarbonate found in the candy hearts reacts with the vinegar and we get a fun Valentine's show.

For tomorrow's assignment, we'll solve the sodium bicarbonate and dilute acetic acid chemical equation.
NaHCO3(s) + CH3COOH(l) → CO2(g) + H2O(l) + Na+(aq) + CH3COO-(aq)

On Valentine's, we do a little dance...

make a little art...

send a little love...

and eat a little feast.

The day was so much fun, it had to be shared with our Pioneer Day School friends!

As they left, they handed us the nicest Valentine's card.
Our relationship with Pioneer is incredibly special.

We are full of love for one another in KP-2!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
